Since rating are generally based on how much you liked/loved the book, I thought hearts (<3) would be appropriate. So, below is an explanation of what the number of hearts mean:
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 - I freakin’ LOVED it! <3 (…and will [probably] fangirl about it for a while…)
<3 <3 <3 <3 - I really liked it and would highly recommend it!
<3 <3 <3 - It was okay.
<3 <3 - Not my cup of tea.
<3 - Why did I bother?
