I like the color red. But not lipstick or candy apple red - those seem so fake to me. I like the kind of red that makes you feel warm, like a glass of red wine. 

I love Athena to pieces. She is my baby ... 

even if she has four legs and a tail.

I suck at keeping plants alive, 

so the 3 I was given as gifts from my students get babied ... 

A LOT.

My best friend is my mother.
